When I think of Florida, I think of hot, humidity, and hurricanes. Lived there 25 yrs. right above Naples. My husband used to work on those 40 million dollar homes in Naples. Ive been on Sanibel Island too. Way to many people down there now. In the early 80s it wasn’t bad, as far as people. We are back home in Ohio now. Much happier here in rural small town. Love it. Don’t even mind the winters. Enjoy change of seasons. I also like the hills and mountains. Never a beach person.

LMAO – they’re only showing the "white" parts and beaches. Go to Tampa thinking it’s all fun and games and see what happens when you get on the wrong side of the tracks lol. It’s fucking HOT here – and country as hell. You’ll see a lot of confederate flags and many many speed traps. As a Floridian there are some places I would never go to. Like, I know my brown ass ain’t got no business being down in the swaps. Fuck around and get disappeared on one of those backroads.
Try Liberty city in Miami. This place rocks!! Good people good food and great weather!!!

I’m shocked St. Augustine wasn’t mentioned !!!! Obviously they have never visited or done there homework.so much history and beauty. I absolutely love this city. Anybody who visits Florida this is worth an overnight.
Also recommend the embassy suites on st. Augustine beach.
