Atlanta: The Don'ts of Visiting Atlanta

Atlanta: The Don'ts of Visiting Atlanta

Atlanta, the hub of the southeast US has a lot of incredible restaurants, museums, history, and people. Here we go through tourist information for Atlanta. We focus on what tourists should not do when they visit Atlanta. Whether you are going to a Hawks, Braves, or Falcons game (or their favorite soccer team Atlanta FC), visiting the High Museum of Art in Midtown or just visiting Zoo Atlanta you should always have your southern manners on and don’t forget to grab a Coke while you are there at the World of Coca Cola.

Our Gear:
We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

    Mark: Hey there, fellow travelers!

Also, beer protip: the only beer you need to be drinking in Georgia is Tropicalia.

The only thing you need to know is just Don’t. Don’t bother visiting, don’t waste your time, don’t give the racists any of your tourist dollars.

  15. Trevor Harris on December 3, 2020 at 9:30 pm

He forgot to say to come and visit Atlanta in late fall and winter, and not to come to ATL in the summer ; the humidity and the heat is oppresive.

  16. Registered Accountant on December 3, 2020 at 9:31 pm

I live here. I would not recommend visiting Atlanta.

  17. Jose Acevedo on December 3, 2020 at 9:31 pm

PRO TIP: Combine MARTA with Uber/Lyft ride to get to your destinations faster and beat the heavy traffic. Buy an unlimited pass on MARTA’s Breeze card.

  18. Justin Lokere on December 3, 2020 at 9:33 pm

Never say or bring up 28-3.

  28. vidmaster011 on December 3, 2020 at 9:42 pm

I refuse to drive in downtown Atlanta…my biggest nightmare is accidentally hitting a one way street in the wrong direction. I take 75 to get to Atlanta but I park my shit and take buses or walk lmaooo

  29. ATLbench on December 3, 2020 at 9:46 pm

When I was getting my drivers license in 1995 everyone I knew considered it a “rite of passage” to successfully drive down Ponce De Leon avenue in downtown Atlanta. Specifically during the evening rush hour. Possibly the most narrow lanes in Georgia with the most aggressive drivers! Good luck!

  30. Kirk shen on December 3, 2020 at 9:49 pm

God, I finally won’t hear "Sorry we only serve Pepsi."

  31. thehorrorgeek1 on December 3, 2020 at 9:51 pm

The driving is stressful here because this city was not meant or prepared for this many people. 1996-2008 the whole world moved here at once. And it’s still being over flowed. There’s no more natives left. My great great great great grandpa moved to Atlanta in the 1850s from Carrollton Georgia

  32. AL on December 3, 2020 at 9:51 pm

just dont mill about downtown lol

  33. NewCreatureInChrist on December 3, 2020 at 9:52 pm

Don’t be surprised if the road you are driving on changes names like 3 times! Also they name all the highways after local politicians and so everyone will say MLK BLVD or Jimmy Carter BLVD.

  34. XxCheeseThiefxX on December 3, 2020 at 9:52 pm

    WAFFLE HOUSE HIT DIFFERENT

  35. Minjae Kim on December 3, 2020 at 9:52 pm

  36. Euro Guy 85 on December 3, 2020 at 9:54 pm

Don’t be scared to drive. I was there in the middle of downtown during SB 53. ATL is fun

  37. Priyanka Dora on December 3, 2020 at 9:57 pm

  38. young metro on December 3, 2020 at 9:59 pm

If you’re going to Mary Mac’s, don’t forget to wear elbow gloves. Ladies, you should probably wear a nice hat as well.

    Great poeple .

  45. NewCreatureInChrist on December 3, 2020 at 10:06 pm

Be careful when leaving the ATL airport. One wrong turn will lead to a very bad part of town that you would NOT want to get lost in!
