Clearwater Beach, Florida: My Top 5 Things To Do

Known as Florida’s crown jewel, Clearwater Beach is home to an award-winning shore, the world-famous dolphin that inspired the 2011’s film, Dolphin Tale, but also some can’t miss activities, events, and eats.

Make sure you catch the sunset at Pier 60 at least once; two hours before and after sunset, the pier comes alive with a festival featuring the arts, crafts, and an entertaining busker culture unique to Clearwater Beach.

When it comes to the food scene, don’t miss the Rumba Island Bar & Grill for a fish-based meal or the Badfins Food + Brew for their fish tacos.

    Destin FL is sssssooooo much prettier than Clearwater….White Sand and Emerald colored water with actually waves. Clearwater is white sand, brown water, and no waves. Almost looks like a big lake.
