Thanks so much for posting this! Reason being… I made all the colorful wood surfboards on the walls as you walk down the pier. I made them a year and a half ago and this is the FIRST time I have been able to see how they look on the walls! Thanks again!!!

While we occasionally visit the pier, we understand it for what it is. It is exactly what it was designed and built to be…a tourist trap. Parking is $20 (no, that is not a typo, doesn’t affect us, we walk), the gift shop is your regular, typical tourist fare, the food is ok, yeah, that’s about all you can say, ok, and the cocktails are normal price for a place like Walt Disney World. We understand this when we go but the unwary are caught off guard, particularly when they drive up to the parking lot and they learn what they are in for. However, the view is SPECTACULAR! And that is exactly all you get…a spectacular view.
