I lived in the allumni village in the 70s with my parents . They went to fsu . I remember a steak house called the brown derby in the tallahassee mall . It was a good time .
Seriously? You mentioned voodoo dog, but you can’t mention the place that makes the best country sausage in the southeast? Seriously?! Bradley’s sausage is absolutely amazing, and is the number one must have food item when you come to Tallahassee.
Why do so many people dislike Tallahassee? I’ve been through there many times, it seems like a great place. No one is really specific about their reasoning so I’m assuming they just have the “grass is greener in the other side” perspective. Tallahassee looks like an awesome place.
Tallahassee IS a great place to live. I used to drive down Old
Bainbridge Road all the time, enjoying the canopy road as I drove to
pick up my girlfriend! It was so great, I wrote a song about that drive

I am from south of Florida, and recently got a job offer from Florida State University. I have never been in north of Florida. Is it a good place to move?

Tallahassee sucks period. It’s garbage it’s not some tourist destination or cultural experience. It’s dull, ghetto, poor and stagnant. Plus dangerous.

Tallahassee is a shithole
Many of the parents in Tallahassee break traffic laws with their children, every day including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Many of these are civil servants. They ignore traffic laws before and after attending church, on these two Sundays and laugh at the idea that they should appear law-abiding to their kids. Really? The children of any capital city would flourish, if the adults were conscientious and ethical. Federally, the concept of law-abiding civil servants internationally, deeply appeals to world peace lovers. Freewheeling capital city streets like in Florida, result in a poor showing in this corner of America. Kids, if your parents ignore traffic laws, pray before every family meal, "Lord help my parents obey traffic laws, I love them!" Let’s talk about the future of Florida, by visualizing law-abiding streets and communities in Tallahassee.
I’m from south beach Miami and I moved to tallahasee this year. It suckssssss, it in the middle of nowhere and most people call it talla nasty. I’m used to a real city and if you are into a boring place to live feel free to move there.
