Tim Ho Wan outside of Hong Kong is terrible. All branches have closed down in Malaysia and there’s maybe oy one branch left in Australia after opening for a year. It’s just… Bad
I had that shit, one of the worst restaurants I have been to. You have to be Asian to get good service, otherwise they’ll treat you like shit.

In my 34 years as Asian Australian. I’ve only experienced racism once. Holidaying in GoldCoast someone yelled out of their car “Yellow Monkey!”. So you’re right, they’re naively outspoken here lol

I still love Ronny’s work, even if i have my reservations about America itself..and that’s funny for the ‘new guy from Malesia” to be what’s best about an american show..Trevor himself is south african.. Think of it, i live in a funny country. Here in Tunisia, we have african poeple but almost no black poeple! I cannot even march on their behalf : but, i’m sympathatic.

As a Filipino who had white girlfriends in both Australia and USA, Australia is definitely more vocal about being against the mix race dating (if you are a non white dating a white woman).
the Aussies have it about right. i’d worry more about America. its past includes way more than slavery of the Blacks. there’s issues with entitlement. there’s issues over who’s qualified to vote. there’s issues with the hierarchy of races. there’s the switch from the political right to left – and the shift from manufacturing to services. there’s virtue/moral signaling. there’s a lot of incompetence built into America – and the public is so woefully unaware…
