“This is a wonderful little diner with great food. We always have good service and although they no longer take the HN gift certificates, I would still go there just for the food. It’s a quaint, quiet little place on the river with great fare. You can’t go wrong with these folks. Have been here several times with the wife, and have had country fried steak (a little small for this big boy-although outstanding) fish and chips (great) and others. The wife has had fried chicken (great), pot roast (great) ,and this time she had the baked chicken (was just OK, as she stated might have been a little rancid but this was an isolated incident). The salads are one of a kind, hand made to order and wonderful. Also, had appetizers at least two times (one time we had onion rings and this time we had southwest egg rolls which beat Chilis all to pieces)!!! I also had dessert one time (I still had room after the country fried steak incident), which was a hot apple something or other with vanilla ice cream melting into it…and I’m still dreaming about it!! In case you haven’t figured it out, this is a great place for comfort food. The menu is full of huge deli sammy’s and specialty burgers as well. I have my work cut out for me as I just have to try them all. The next step is to bring my Mom and Dad here. I know they will love it.” Trip Advisor

Palm Shores Bistro is fine dining for comfort food. You may order anything from biscuits & gravy to prime rib to fish of the day. We really love the cheese cake that will send the cooks at Cheese Cake Factory to remedial cooking class. Seriously! The salads are excellent and most of the people we spoke to love the meat loaf.
