How I wish I had a twenty dollar bill for every time we used this park ( dating back to 1969 ) to swim & cook out, party, play baseball & softball and later on, watched games played years after I once played there. I would be rich. Oh the memories.

I hate this. They are tearing up all of my childhood memories all over our little town. It’s not like it wasn’t still being used. There were still all sorts of events. Family Gathering that didn’t cost an arm and leg , like it does now. No more cow and horse pastures. I HATE it!!!!! It was a beautiful park.

Personally I think it should have stayed the same.  Glad somebody took the time to make a video of what once was.

Remembering all of the blood, sweat and tears I left on those fields, the parties, wedding receptions, countless championships, and friendships made. It’s tough to think about, but knowing it’s going to be a great benefit to our community is amazing.

I learned to swim in that lake…Love the concept but wish they could have built it someplace else. So many memories with my now deceased parents were made at that park…
