Nick, American pints are 16 fluid ounces, compared with UK pints which are 20 fluid ounces. 🙂

Nick says, "I want to talk about the chickens"… I think, "This is going to be good". So funny. Yes it is a lot of chicken, but it averages to about 2 per month per person. The real problem is that the average isn’t actually evenly distributed over the whole US population and food waste is 30-40%. Great vlog today. You guys made me want ice cream.

Nice video @ Cocoa Beach. Love the bumper stickers/signs Nick. LOL. Another great dinner at the Black Angus. I agree with you Nick, about the sweet and savory when it came to the warm bread, butter and honey.

If you get the chance go to MANNY’S Original Chophouse and have the porterhouse or prime rib, the best one is Haines City. If you don’t want to go that far there is also one on iDrive. Very well priced, large portions, f you go to the web site they do different offers on specials each day

I am not a vegetarian, and I do eat a fair amount of chicken, as it is a healthier meat option than beef (though I certainly eat beef as well). And to be honest, I’m not surprised a steakhouse would not have a vegetarian option. But there are plenty of places, like Cracker Barrel, that offer vegetable plates. As for roundabouts, people do get confused by them here: there’s one close enough to my condo that I can see people entering it through my living room window, and I’m always seeing people who don’t quite know how to negotiate it. And it’s just a simple one-lane roundabout. Cocoa Beach always makes me think of the old 60s sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie,” since that’s where the main character lived.

"That was just whippy ice cream" 8:09 – Not sure about the UK but in North America, we can that Soft Serve.

  7. rennaps on July 27, 2019 at 1:00 am

How was your steak, Nick? We had steak at home tonight, unfortunately Shirley had picked up the wrong sauce from morrisons, it was a creamy mushroom and not the usual peppercorn one. Can’t wait to try out that A1 stuff you recommended, we’ll have to call into tesco at some time and pick a bottle up.

Theme Parks are great and all but it’s nice to unplug and just try something else. Parks, Beaches, Cottage Country.

I’m going to be the " one" Haha. I’m Vegan ( cue lots of eye rolling, Haha) If your looking for a great restaurant in Orlando that has amazing vegetarian food, try the Yard house by the Orlando eye the food is amazing and Nick would love the adult beverage menu. Its larger than the food menu.

There’s also a Twistee Treat in Cape Canaveral , about an 8 minute drive further north of where they had lunch at right along A1A, the ‘one road’ that runs all the way north from Melbourne Beach to CapeCanaveral and then curves west back to orlando.

I think this video sealed it for us – we are going to do a non-Disney central Florida trip next year – we are DVC so we always go to Disney, but there is stuff on the coasts we see in vlogs and never do. Cocoa was one of the areas we were considering visiting, now I think we have to, along with New Smyrna, DeLeon springs, Central Florida Zoo, Kennedy Space Center…
