Taking photographs and videos of things that are plainly visible from public spaces is your constitutional right.
When in spaces where you are legally present, you have the right to capture any image that is in plain view.
That includes pictures and videos of federal buildings, transportation facilities (including airports), and police officers.
Aside from staying home with the curtains drawn, there is no easy way to avoid unwanted recording by cameras, and in US courts have ruled that people do not have an expectation of privacy in public places as it pertains to photography/camera recording..

By the way, note that the law penalizes you further if you have a conviction history, and the most absurd thing here is the offender’s "intent." One of the few things that you absolutely CANNOT PROVE in court, on the streets, or while you’re floating above the police station checking out the avenues of shooting on GOOGLE MAPS.
