Closer to Orlando, 20 minutes or so heading south, is Kissimmee… and Shingle Creek, another beautiful waterway to kayak on or fish in (swimming there wouldn’t be smart…LOL!). Lots of birds, fish, gators and snakes.
Awesome video. This is my favorite fine dining restaurant in Orlando: http://www.todaysorlando.com/restaurant/christinis-ristorante-italiano

I love Orlando
I get so mad that I live here in Orlando and I don’t take advantage of these areas.
Pronounced Wek-eye-va instead of wek-ee-va
I would love to hit up Wekiva…but gators are not a joke:

It is actually easier to drive to the spring itself then float downriver which is what most people do. Not paddle upstream for 3 miles……….
It’s funny I see you went to Wekiva Springs will not wekiva. falls
Kind of sad to see the city I grew up in in this light. The hipsters have really removed everything authentic and replaced it with plastic.
born and raised here, its so crazy I’ve traveled all over the US but nothing for me beats home. Also loved the 3 ninjas lol..
just wanted to point out shiki no uta mix in the beginning, Respect.
real apopka/wekiva peeps remember when it was wekiva marina and not wekiva island
That place is awesome I been there 2 times 4 hours of canoeing
If you are going to Orlando… stay at the Omni at Championsgate Villas. Omni is located just west of Orlando and away from all the tacky tourist traps and traffic yet only minutes from Disney World and Epcot. The resort is gorgeous and very laid back. There is a resort shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up at Disney so no need to drive! The Omni has five pools including an amazing wave pool and also a lazy river pool. The Villas at Omni are two and three bedroom luxury condos with full kitchens and 4 to 5 TVs in each condo. We always stay in Villa 2312 which is a corner villa with a larger balcony than on other floors and also has a fabulous view of one of the pools. The restaurants are amazing including Zen Restaurant which serves 5-star Chinese food and excellent sushi. Can’t say enough about Villas at Championsgate. Make sure to ask for Villa 2312 as it is one of the nicest two bedrooms with den and on the corner so really quiet. The cost of the Villas is not much more than for a nice hotel room yet you get room for the whole family!
Can you find hidden great apartments that is affordable and family friendly

I like this video. 🙂
Secret spot, local destinations that are amazing to experience. I live in Florida and I enjoy going to many of these places and still searching for more experiences.

Orlando’s a great place and all but I have to come back like three times to actually explore the WHOLE city
We live in a high Tourist area so I usually avoid them when we leave here.. But you guys actually pointed out something I might like to try.. Thank you!
Taka Cheena is my fave! The Thai Peanut taco is hands down my favorite !!
guy at 1:16 gayer than an upside down bar stool
Hi.. thanks for sharing all local things in Orlando. I watch all ur videos, big fan of vagabrothers… but this time I feel u shd hv mention names of places as u do in ur other videos..
Lived in Orlando since birth. Fuckin’ sucks here
You guys are incredible.. Thank for sharing.. Amazing
I don’t live far from the springs and go there often. In Florida, veterans with service connected disabilities get free life time passes to the state parks.
Cool Youtube video. Here is my favorite restaurant in Orlando: http://www.todaysorlando.com/restaurant/christinis-ristorante-italiano
Dude… People swim and paddleboard in alligator-infested water?
Thanks a lot, sir for this information…

You guys would go to a coffee shop lmao

I live in Connecticut but wanna move to Florida. My parents live in palm city and brother lives in pinellas park fl
Pre Disney Orlando was much better place to live than post Disney.
Great video. Did you guys Uber around or rent a car?
I grew up in Orlando. SO MANY people think that Orlando is just the suburbs and tourist area, but it’s not. It has a downtown-central area that is beautiful and a great place to explore…but you will need some form of transportation, like a bike.
I’ve been to Orlando 4 times and still have lots more places to see, just did a SHARK dive this time!
Orlando was a great place to grow up.. to many people now.
Great Youtube video. Here is my favorite fine dining restaurant in Orlando: http://www.todaysorlando.com/restaurant/christinis-ristorante-italiano
You might like researching tartary and the mud floods
Fuckin cool video, thanks and keep it up!
I’ve lived in Orlando for a long time. For anyone watching this to get travel ideas, this list is really good!
Here are my own recommendations for stuff to do within around 2 hours of Downtown Orlando:
-St. Augustine
-Drive along highway A1A if you’re driving up to or back from St. Augustine (it’s beautiful)
-Blue Springs (for swimming)
-Devil’s Den (swimming or scuba)
-Ybor City, Tampa
-Anna Maria Island (my favorite little beach getaway)
-The Dali Museum
, St. Petersburg
-Space Coast
DIRECTLY in Orlando:
-Winter Park (Even if you don’t like coffee, go around that area because Winter Park, Orlando is beautiful)
-Old Town & Celebration (Disney’s community)… they’re right next to each other
-Gatorland
-Disney Springs shopping/dining (yes, even locals like going here)
-Lake Eola Park, Downtown Orlando
-Look for any nature park near you for hiking (we have a lot… warning it will be hot!)
Have fun.
