I have recently thrifted Wedgwood transfer ware that dates to 1880. The patterns are so beautiful. I have collected 9 pieces in total including Doulton transfer ware from that same time period. Great haul and great information. Really enjoy your videos.

Wonderful haul, Michelle! Your green Connemara plates should do very well. Anything Irish seems to fly off the shelves at our antique mall. The Wedgwood plates are beautiful, but my favorite is the Ballerina Burgundy serving piece. It reminds me of Fiestaware. The trend in the 1950’s was for Burgundy to be paired with dove grey; wouldn’t it be stunning in a table setting? TFS.

I have a set of Golden Rose, Platinum Starburst, Kathy Kale, and Thompson Birdhouse I think they call it. I have a whole bunch of the starburst. I paid $50 even for 82 pieces and literally $1 buck for the Thompson Birdhouse pottery/China on the last day of an old church sale. Unfortunately tho, the Birdhouse is missing a mug from the set. I am not a China connoisseur, but I think the Golden Rose China is the prettiest I have ever seen. I want to sell it, but I so want to keep it. Lol I need to sell it. Any ideas on what I can get for this stuff or how to go about selling it ??

I love Taylor Smith & Taylor. I have a very large set (service for 6 plus a bunch of extras and hostess sets) of their China in the pattern 1825. I got it many many years ago from a neighbor the day after she had a tag sale for 10 bucks.
I thought I’d seen everything but I’ve never seen a bread/bun warmer. That was so cute. Now I suppose when I’m out antiquing I’ll see one. You must be busy and efficient, takes time to sell and pack and ship but you love it all so that’s great.
I love England. We took the bus to London several times. Took the bus to Paris too.
