I live in Melbourne and it’s literally so boring here, unless you want to eat food or have an active night life there’s nothing to do.
Yah we’re less about the “coffee shops” just for beverages and more about the sit around have brunch type of “cafes”, they’re a big part of life here.

Visit the south melbourne market, there’s seafood, deli products and everything you could imagine for the best quality.

south melbourne dim sims, and spring rolls. even in regular melbourne, you can have south melbourne dimmies from a fish and chip shop

Melbourne food isn’t that great, however, there are some good restaurants and places, my rule is to not trust the locals (especially white locals). Most Australians do not know what good food tastes like.
