Just tried a Brazilian steakhouse for the first time. Never once had the issue of too much meat coming to the table. Waited 5 minutes between bites. Wasn’t really a pleasant eating experience. Will probably try a different Brazilian steakhouse sometime as I really like the idea but next closest is about 100 miles away so it will have to wait.
Guess we could go the other way and put on some heels
My perception is Brazilians like beef more well done and not as tender. I go to a small B steak house and what they call tenderloin is not what I call tenderloin.

I went to one in the Chicago area with some work friends. Our host was knowledgeable about the process so we had a great time and ate a lot at a leisurely pace. I have no idea what it cost but it was fabulous! If I could remember the name of the place, I would share it with you, but alas, it has been a while.
PRO Tip here: completely ignore the salad bar and some of the sides.
They try to stuff you with starch so you eat less meat
One time I went with my brother and he kept it on green, because he was excited. I’ve never had so much meat in my face. I told him to switch the fucking card because we were drowning in delicious meats and I couldn’t keep up!
I feel like you have to FAST FOR 3 or 4 days then go there to break your fast.

We had one that had this lovely grilled pineapple. Sadly the place that took over it overcooks the meat until it tastes like charcoal. Every meat is beyond well done and disgusting

Valuable tip this video won’t say: skip the sausage and chicken and wait for the steak. The restaurant will present the cheaper meats first for obvious reasons.

Here one thing to teach yourself and ppl who work there don’t ignore sections. I had my card on green for a long time and no one came the only thing i got plenty of times was my check.

brazilian here, everybody do it differently (of course a video will play around with stereotypes and common knowleadge), the way I do it is I skip breakfast and go to the churrascaria, dont get anything from the buffet, flip the card green and only turn it to red when im finished… I try to each as much as I can (while having fun of course) and keep a track of the meats that Im enjoying more on that day so I can get some more of the same later on 🙂

I have been to several Brazilian steak houses, or as I like to call them, Meat Orgies. I discovered I like Lamb Chops at one of these places. That said, I also got sick after eating at one of these places. I think it was the lamb chops (not joking). The advice is correct. Do not go grab a huge salad and then expect to eat a huge amount of meats. Use the card. Red means STOP FEEDING ME. You can always go back to green if you fart and discover you now have a bit more room for meat in your stomach. Red wine goes well with EVERYTHING here. There is no fish on the menu. If you are vegan, this is going to be a significant emotional event for you…. and you are going home hungry, unless you overdo the salad bar.
Don’t see it as a salad bar. See it as a condiment bar, a way to get things to compliment your meat.
When I first went to a Brazilian steak house, I kept my card on green the whole time and didn’t bother with the lame salad bar. Ya boy can munch down a slice of meat and grab another with the tongs faster than they can get to me. Best type of restaurant in the worlf
So use tongs and dont continuously ask for meat. This video doesnt need to exist
