Ben's Tours–King Center, Atlanta GA

Each installment of Ben’s Tours will take you on a visit to a special place. This time we visit the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site. On a short stretch of Atlanta’s Auburn Avenue, you’ll find King’s birth home, tomb, the Ebenezer Baptist Church where he was once a pastor and a museum dedicated to both his great life and the civil rights movement. NOTE: Due to a copyright infringement claim by EMI, portions of this video will no longer have audio

I agree. For me, I really felt it most inside the Ebenezer Church where they play an audio loop of him speaking

Today is the 40th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination. I’ll always wonder what could have been. I’ve always admired his brilliance, integrity and belief in goodwill.

Thank you kindly, glad you liked. He was a remarkable man and there’s probably no better word for him than ‘inspiring’

Originally shot for my Ben’s Tours travelogue group, I’m adding my King Center video to the Honour Project as well. For his efforts, for his beliefs for his walking the talk, Martin Luther King remains an inspiration to this day. Not only was he a brilliant man, he was an honourable one.
