I think it’s such a shame that forigners always highlight the same foods to try in The Netherlands. Always haring/poffertjes etc.
Tip, ask a dutch person!

Frikandel speciaal: The reason I would never leave this country, couldn’t live without it.

Vlaai: From my region, Limburg, it’s the best and compares to nothing else in the world, special kind of pastry
Pannekoek from a Pannenkoekenhuis in the forest

The Bulldog is like the MaDonalds of Coffeeshops. I didn’t think much of the muffins they sell. Shop around.

Nr 1 tip, don’t go there instead go to a old dutch town that’s not overpopulated and full with hipsters.

"no balloons" sing born because recently people in the Netherlands start to buy laughing gas in balloons and used everywhere (cos no regulations for it, still) , it supposed to give euphoria for 15 seconds and become really popular in AMS .. i guess the sign is there for that

First tip: Don’t Go to Amsterdam but every other city in the Netherlands.
Make sure in Amsterdam to use the buienradar app so you always know if it’s gonna rain or not!!!!
